I am ...John thanks for the thought-provoking blogs. I am always disturbed when people with guns are seen as more courageous than than peaceful resistors. You may have used the JFK quote that "war will exist until that distant day when the conscientious objector enjoys the same reputation and prestige that the warrior does today." And yes we are conscripted through No Child Left Behind and 'service' registration to be eligible for scholarships and loans.
